1. How long will the approval process take?

You will be contacted by a site admnistrator after registering; from there you will be assisted in becoming a full registered participant on EmployerRegistry. 

 

2. Who will see my company’s information?

Your company’s information is not publicly accessible. Only administrators and Educators will have the ability to view company profiles.

 

3. Is there a fee to have opportunities listed?

No, the Employer Registry is a free online service. The experiential learning opportunities provided by employers are extremely valuable and charging employers a fee to register would hinder this purpose.

 

4. Can I change my employer description?

Yes, after the approval process is completed you will be able to access and modify your company’s information.

 

5. Can I change my industry classification?

Yes, after the approval process is completed you will be able to access and modify your company’s information.

 

6. My business operates out of several locations, how do I post opportunities for all branches?

During the registration process you will be able to indicate that your company operates out of multiple locations and specify those locations that would like to provide experiential learning opportunities.

 

7. Does being involved in these programs mean a large time commitment?

How much time you devote to being involved in experiential learning can vary and is entirely up to you. There are a variety of opportunities open to employers, ranging from simple Career Talks - a one hour time commitment - to a full-time Co-op placement. You can adjust your level of involvement at any time.
