Registration Packages for the 10th Annual Options Skilled Trade & Career Fair

 Now Available to Employers & Organizations On-Line 

Employers and community organizations are the key to a successful Options Skilled Trades Fair. Registration packages are now available on-line for any employer that would like to participate in Options, which will include a showcase of apprenticeship opportunities and a career and job fair for unemployed or displaced workers.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 9th 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pembroke Memorial Centre. More than 2500 high school students will attend, as well as job seekers and community members seeking information on various careers.

Organizers of the event are looking for employers to participate in many activities including providing interactive displays, the job fair, and certified skilled trades people who can be judges for the skills competition for senior high school students. Judges are needed in several trades including team carpentry, cabinet making, automotive, masonry, welding and much more.
