Employers

Employers are the back bone of all school to work transition programs for young people. They provide opportunities for youth to learn about the work place by offering co-operative education placements, participating in career and job fairs, acting as mentors for youth or providing work place tours.

Employers are often asked to give back to their community, and through their support of students they are clearly making a difference for young people. By participating in school to work programs, employers are also helping themselves by helping groom the next generation of workers.
