What is P2P?

About Passport to Prosperity

Passport to Prosperity (P2P) is designed to increase employer awareness and participation in work opportunities for high school students. The campaign is an employer-led recruitment effort to help students explore career options and develop workplace skills and experiences.

Passport to Prosperity in Kenora-Rainy River

The Passport to Prosperity Coordinator serves the Kenora-Rainy River District. This covers from Ignace to the Manitoba border. Passport to Prosperity is an initiative to promote the benefits of school-work partnerships and provide a link between business and education through broad-based marketing, networking events and business/industry associations.

What does Passport to Prosperity do?

Passport to Prosperity is the link between business and education. P2P is committed to pursuing school-work opportunities for the students of Northwestern Ontario. If you are an employer, sign up on EmployerRegistry.ca to connect with tomorrow's workforce by hosting a tour of your business, become a guest speaker in the classroom, offer co-op placement or to participate in OYAP or a Specialist High Skills Major. If you are an educator, contact your P2P Coordinator if you would like your students to experience a workplace or campus tour, have a guest speaker in the classroom, attend a regional job fair or recruiting for a special co-op placement. The Coordinator can also assist with planning in-school career fairs, Reach Ahead activities, and employer appreciation events.
