Business & Media Entertainment.  Young people enjoy sport bus don't often realize that there are endless career opportunities to be affiliated with sports.

SHSM at Christ the King:

This Sports sector SHSM at Christ the King Catholic Secondary School will offer skill development opportunities for students interested in a wide variety of careers in the field of Sports Performance. Students will work with educators and community partners to achieve certifications, participate in experiential learning programs, and access in-house and professional workshops which will provide them with the opportunity to build on their interests, strengths, and abilities.

The sport and recreation sector is one of the largest businesses in the province of Ontario. In addition to its economic function, the health and social impact of participation in sport and recreation is even greater. Many students at our school are interested in pursuing a career in this field through a variety of apprenticeships, as well as college and university programs such as sports administration, kinesiology, outdoor adventure leadership, sport management, recreation facility management, and sport broadcasting. In addition, students moving directly into the workforce will have cooperative and experiential learning opportunities to better prepare them for employment after high school.
