About The Learning Partnership

Established in 1993, The Learning Partnership is a national charitable organization dedicated to championing a strong public education system in Canada through innovative programs, credible research, policy initiatives, executive leadership and public engagement. Since its inception, more than four million students and teachers have participated in one or more of TLP’s programs, including Take Our Kids to Work™, Welcome to Kindergarten™, Change Your Future and Entrepreneurial Adventure. Charitable Registration Number 140756107RR0001

What we do

The Learning Partnership creates, implements and sustains programs in the public education system that truly make a difference in the lives of students. We do this through 12 crucial programs that:

  • Encourage students to stay in school.
  • Help prepare students for the learning transition from the classroom to the world of work.
  • Provide innovative opportunities for students to enhance literacy and conceptual thinking.
  • Promote careers in science and technology.

Through these innovative programs, The Learning Partnership is the vital link that brings together students, teachers, schools, school boards, business, government and labour. No other organization brings together as many people with as many positive outcomes for public education.

Our Vision

A strong public education system valued by all Canadians and recognized as the cornerstone of a civil, prosperous and democratic society.

Our Mission

Through partnerships, we champion a strong public education system to deliver innovative programs, credible research, policy initiatives, executive leadership and public engagement across Canada.
