Ontario Shores to Receive 2011 Employer Champion Award

On January 11, 2012, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) will receive the 2011 Employer Champion Award. This award acknowledges outstanding commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities to Ontario high school students through the cooperative education program.

Supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, The Passport to Prosperity Award will be presented by the Provincial Partnership Council (PPC), a volunteer advisory committee of leaders from the private, public, and voluntary sectors.

What:   Award presentation, reception and photo opportunity.
When: January 11, 2012
            1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

For GTA students there are nearly 2 000 employers and 3 000 opportunities listed on EmployerRegistry.ca.
