The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, in partnership with The Learning Partnership, will host Mission Employable May 1.

This will be a one-day conference aimed specifically at Grade 12 students planning to enter the working world after graduation. More than 400 students are expected to take part in this eighth annual event.

Mission Employable is another critical link in the student success initiative where the aim is to reach every student,” said Principal of Student Success Joanna Boudreau. “This conference assists students with their transition from school to the workplace by providing them with employment advice to support them during their job search.”...'

Over the summer months many NEW employers have signed on to the Employer Registry to offer a wide range of experiential learning opportunities for students in the GTA; educators can search for student opportunities by registering on EmployerRegistry.ca.

For GTA students there are nearly 2 000 employers and 3 000 opportunities listed on EmployerRegistry.ca.
